I am a legal scholar interested in transnational law, global economic governance and modern technology in armed conflict. I teach at the University of Warwick School of Law, focusing on international law, international economic law, constitutional law and comparative law. Prior to joining the University of Warwick School of Law, I was based at the University of Miami.

In addition, I have been a visiting professor and scholar at institutions around the world, including the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and Public International Law in Heidelberg / Germany, and the law faculties at the University of New South Wales Law School, Sydney / Australia, the Universidad Externado de Colombia, Bogota / Colombia and the Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Sao Paulo / Brazil.
